The Billfish Foundation bestows Club of Excellence award to OCLTCPosted May 29, 2018The Billfish Foundation will acknowledge the Ocean City Light Tackle Club in November 2018 with its Club of Excellence Award. The Ocean City Light Tackle Club and its members are very grateful for the TBF's recognition of the clubs history and dedication to billfish release fishing.

|  | Fred Flippin Blue Marlin Release
There are not just sailfish to be caught in Ocean Reef. In 2018, Fred caught this nice Blue Marlin estimated at 250-300 pounds on light tackle-20lb test. Fred's new lung provided for the ensuing 40 minute fight. Congrats Fred!
His note at the top says it all! "I am still in the game." Keep it up Fred.

The Six fishing team in Nova Scotia with Wayne's 902# Giant Bluefin Tuna. NICE FISH!

We had a nice mix of Stripers and Bluefish near the MD/DE line on December 1st. We caught and released 47 stripers and 7 chopper blues on jigs and topwater plugs.
The topwater bites are almost as exciting as a hot billfish on a flatline bite. Well, almost....
